The study centre Unimpresa has compiled a ranking of the most "charged" cities in Italy according to the level of taxes levied on homes, commercial properties, companies and families. Take a look at the Top 10.

The ranking is based on data from the Agenzia delle Entrate (Italian tax office), the Corte dei Conti (Court of Audit) and the Dipartimento Finanze (Finance Department).

The association looks at different taxes for its analysis: the IRAP regional production tax and the IRPEF income tax (defined by the regions and municipalities), as well as the IMU and TASI Municipal Property Taxes.
