Jasmine Paolini’s family represents a true meeting point of different cultures. Her father, Ugo, is Italian, while her mother, Jacqueline, has Polish origins and Ghanaian roots. Tuscany has always played a central role in Jasmine’s life: she trains at the Federal Centre in Tirrenia, Carrara. Despite the many international tournaments that take her all over the world, Jasmine has remained deeply attached to her roots and to the local community of Bagni di Lucca – the town where she still lives today and where she officially resides.

Tennis star Jasmine Paolini, born in 1996 in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is experiencing the finest moments of her career to date in 2025, establishing herself as one of the leading figures in world tennis. Raised in Bagni di Lucca, she began playing at TC Mirafiume, inspired by her father and uncle. In 2024, she made history by reaching the finals of both Roland Garros and Wimbledon, becoming the first Italian woman ever to play two Slam finals in two different Majors.

She also claimed the WTA 1000 title in Dubai and, alongside Sara Errani, won a historic gold medal in women’s doubles at the Paris 2024 Olympics — the first ever for Italian tennis. The pair also triumphed in doubles at the China Open and helped Italy secure victory in the Billie Jean King Cup. In 2025, Paolini reached the semi-finals of the Miami Open and won the doubles title at the WTA 1000 in Doha.

After ten years of working together, she parted ways with coach Renzo Furlan and began a new chapter with Marc López. She is currently ranked world No. 4 in singles and No. 6 in doubles
