November is the perfect month for travelling or attending Italy’s most exciting events. The autumn weather is still pleasant, and the major Italian cities are not yet crowded with festive tourists. So, if you’re planning a weekend getaway, here’s what to do in Italy in November 2025.
Eurochocolate - Perugia
The much-anticipated Eurochocolate festival will be held in Perugia from 14 to 23 November 2025. It is one of Europe’s most famous chocolate festivals: the medieval city centre will host master chocolatiers, cocoa sculptures, live cooking demonstrations, guided tastings, and workshops for families.
This year’s theme, “The Festival Among the Clouds,” will be especially reflected in the decorations across Perugia. Admission is free, and the city centre is easily accessible by bus and the Minimetrò.
Festa del Torrone - Cremona
Cremona’s sweetest symbol is undoubtedly its nougat, celebrated every year in November. This year’s festival runs from 8 to 16 November and takes place throughout the historic centre. Highlights include giant nougat sculptures, historical reenactments, and the highly anticipated finale.
There are plenty of reasons to attend: you can enjoy the festive decorations and taste this world-famous treat, often paired with unusual flavours. It’s also a perfect opportunity to explore Cremona’s attractions, from the Torrazzo to the Violin Museum.
EICMA - Milan
EICMA, the International Motorcycle and Bicycle Exhibition, is the leading event for motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes, and accessories. The 2025 edition will take place from 6 to 9 November at Fiera Milano Rho, featuring world premieres, test rides, outdoor shows, and a focus on new mobility.
Given the many events planned, it’s advisable to book tickets in advance and find accommodation with good metro or train connections to the fair. Allow at least two half-days: one for the pavilions, the other for outdoor tests and shows.
Rome Jazz Festival
The capital hosts one of Italy’s longest-running jazz festivals, with concerts held at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Casa del Jazz, and the Monk club. From 1 to 23 November, the programme will feature international stars, emerging talents, and a fusion of jazz, electronic, and world music.
In celebration of the Jubilee, the 49th edition is dedicated to spirituality and pays tribute to jazz legend John Coltrane. Performers include Makaya McCraven, David Murray Quartet, and Cecile McLorin Salvant, among others.
Sherbeth Festival - Palermo
Sherbeth is the international festival of artisanal ice cream. The 2025 edition will take place in the heart of Palermo from 7 to 10 November, featuring a “gelato village” in Piazza Verdi. Dozens of gelato makers from around the world will present classic and innovative flavours, focusing on high-quality ingredients, local supply chains, and artisanal techniques.
There will also be talks and tastings throughout the day with renowned chefs and gelato artisans. Being in Palermo’s historic centre, it’s also a chance to sample traditional Sicilian pastries in local patisseries.
Nitto ATP Finals - Turin
The Nitto ATP Finals return to Turin in mid-November 2025 at the Inalpi Arena, featuring the tennis season’s top eight singles players and eight doubles teams. The tournament follows a round-robin format with semi-finals and finals, all within the atmosphere of a major international event.
Top players will include Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and favourites such as Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, and Casper Ruud. The event runs from 9 to 16 November, with both singles and doubles finals scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 16 November.
