This ancient castle dating back to the 10th century lies between the regions of Umbria and Tuscany. Re-branded as luxury accommodation, Hotel Castello di Reschio offers 36 exquisite high-end suites for its guests from this spring. The building has been completely refurbished and the rooms are decorated with terracotta bricks and wooden floors, as well as linen curtains, Italian fabrics and locally made brass and marble dressing tables.

Castello di Reschio prices start from 980 euros a night, where you can enjoy one of the 30 rooms in the castle or one of the 6 additional rooms in the adjacent former parish church. The whole complex on an extensive estate of vineyards and olive groves, known as Reschio, was acquired by the Bolza family in 1994. Years later, the architect Benedikt Bolza decided to remodel and restore the architecture of the complex, adapting it to luxury accommodation.

Castello di Reschio can also be used for weddings, while the hotel also has a swimming pool and extensive gardens, as well as a luxury spa in the vaulted stone basement with hammam, sauna and plunge pool. More details about Castello di Reschio booking can be found on the website
