Via Luigi Raffaelli in Forte dei Marmi is the most expensive street in Italy, with an average total value of homes at 6,027,273 euros. This is revealed by a study from Idealista, a leading real estate portal in technological development in Italy, which analyzed the 10 Italian streets with the highest prices for homes for sale, considering only those with at least 20 active listings. This exclusive avenue in Versilia, known for its luxury villas with pools, is just a short walk from the renowned Le Dune beach.
The second place goes to Via Vittorio Veneto in Cernobbio, on Lake Como, with an average cost of 3,231,053 euros per home. Another street in Forte dei Marmi, Via Francesco Donati, rounds out the podium with an average of 2,978,800 euros.
Fondamenta d’Osmarin, in fourth place in the ranking of the most expensive streets in Italy with an average price of 2,336,538 euros, is a charming glimpse of Venice located in the sestiere of Castello, one of the oldest and most authentic districts of the lagoon city. Following is Corso Magenta in Milan, with an average price of 2,187,654 euros.
In sixth place is Largo dell’Olgiata in Rome, one of the most exclusive areas of the capital, with an average value of 2,125,633 euros. Piazza Duomo in Florence, with its views of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Brunelleschi Dome, ranks seventh with an average of 2,006,304 euros.
Among other locations, Via XXV Aprile in Sirmione on Lake Garda is the first to drop below 2 million euros, with an average price of 1,946,160 euros. In ninth place is Via Piave, again in Forte dei Marmi, with 1,790,885 euros. The ranking concludes with Via Flaminia Nuova in Rome, where homes have an average price of 1,666,773 euros.
Regions
The Idealista study is enriched by the analysis of the most exclusive streets in each of the 20 Italian regions. In addition to the four regions already present in the top ten positions of the ranking, three other regions boast addresses where the average price exceeds one million euros: Liguria (1,284,500 euros), Piedmont (1,256,429 euros), and Campania (1,071,000 euros). At the opposite end, Molise is the most affordable region, with its most expensive street registering an average price of 150,766 euros.

To prepare this study, idealista analysed the absolute average price of all types of homes (apartments, studios, penthouses, chalets, etc.) advertised on the same street. To avoid data distortions, only streets with a minimum of 20 listings were considered. Therefore, the study shows only the average prices of the streets, which does not mean that these are the most expensive homes for sale in each market.
