After staying at the Aman Venice Hotel for their lavish and much-talked-about wedding in Venice, the couple Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos decided to remain in Italy for at least part of their honeymoon.

According to well-informed sources, the newlyweds chose a dream resort in Taormina to enjoy a unique panorama and atmosphere.

As revealed by Alison Boshoff (head of entertainment at the Daily Mail), Sanchez and Bezos reportedly spent part of their honeymoon at the enchanting Four Seasons San Domenico Palace, which was recently used as a filming location for the second season of the TV series The White Lotus.

The San Domenico Palace is considered a legendary hotel. Founded in 1374, this typical Dominican convent was expanded in 1896 and converted into a hotel, adding a new Art Nouveau (Liberty) style building.

For over a century, the San Domenico Palace has welcomed the most illustrious guests, from Oscar Wilde and King Edward VIII to Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, and Sophia Loren. Now, under Four Seasons management, this iconic resort has entered a new chapter, offering guests impeccable personalised service.

Perched on a rocky promontory on the Sicilian coast overlooking the Ionian Sea, the San Domenico Palace in Taormina offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, modern amenities, and the charm of traditional Sicilian culture.

Skillfully blending the historic allure of a former convent with cutting-edge design, the rooms feature contemporary furnishings in understated tones and beautiful marble bathrooms. Some even boast a small private pool.
