The Trento Christmas Market 2026 runs from 20 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, making it a handy option for a festive weekend in northern Italy or a stop on a wider Trentino trip.

One of the best Christmas markets in Trentino, Trento's is part of Trento Città del Natale, the city’s seasonal programme of lights, cultural activities, shows and workshops.

Entry to the market is free. Its two main sites, Piazza Fiera and Piazza Mostra, sit within easy walking distance of Trento’s historic centre.

A separate fixture in the Christmas calendar is the Fiera di Santa Lucia, held on 12 and 13 December 2026 along Via Mazzini and Via Oss Mazzurana.

The fair is expected to have around 350 stalls, adding a much larger shopping route through central Trento over that weekend.
