Can you imagine going to live in one of the most beautiful places in Italy, Tuscany? Lots of people dream of finding a country house in a Tuscan hill town, but what if instead of living in a little farmhouse in Tuscany, you had a whole village? Well, now it's possible with this strange property listing on idealista (although it’s not exactly cheap!).
This charming Tuscan village is five minutes from Loro Ciuffenna, halfway between Arezzo, Siena and Florence, and quite near Lucca too. The whole town is for sale on idealista for 5.5 million euro. There are 19 houses in the village, each with two or three bedrooms, all decorated in the typical Tuscan style.
The history of the village goes back to the mid-nineteenth century, when it was used as a foundry for processing metals and producing farm tools. Gradually, though, the pretty little village was abandoned. In 1996, the empty town was bought by the current owners who reformed it and converted it into a fully functioning rural hotel retreat. Now, they’re selling it on to one lucky buyer who can become mayor of their own corner of Italy…
Have a look at this town for sale you absolutely can’t miss in the Italian countryside…
