We are talking about "Circo Maximo Experience" one of the events organized at the Circus Maximus in Rome that offer a complete look at what happened there in the past. From the 8th of October until the 30th, the visits will take place from Friday to Sunday and from 3 to 6 pm.

The immersive visit lasts about 40 minutes, and takes place on the move within the archaeological area, on a route through 8 observation points (stages) using specific VR headsets which, after each use, are sanitized and bagged. In compliance with the anti Covid-19 prevention measures, each headset is delivered individually wrapped, with disposable earphones and the headset itself on which you place the special viewer. The exhibit is open for entry exclusively by those with the Covid green certification (Green Pass). The physical interpersonal distance must then be respected and it is planned to measure the temperatures of visitors with a thermoscanner.

Tickets can be pre-purchased online on the website www.circomaximoexperience.it or by calling the contact center on 060608 (active every day 9 am-7pm). They can also be purchased on site, if available, after filling in the personal data sheet with the visitor's personal data, and in the Tourist Infopoints. There is a reduced admission ticket for MIC card and Roma Pass holders.

In May 2019 idealista / news participated in the presentation of the project. On that occasion, the Capitoline Superintendent of Cultural Heritage, Maria Vittoria Marini Clarelli, said: "There are no precedents of this type in open spaces. It is exceptional that this is the first experience of this type in the world". She added: "The visitor will be able to follow a series of phases and understand the different values of this place".
